Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Minted (“Minted,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit mintedbook.com, use the GrowthFi Matrix assessment or team-session features, contact us, request a strategy session, or buy a book through the site.

Information we collect

We may collect:

Contact and account information, such as your email address and sign-in or account details.
Assessment and session information, such as your marketing priorities, answers, selections, goals, and information entered during a GrowthFi Matrix assessment or team session. We associate saved sessions with the account used to create them.
Team workshop information, such as your workshop’s name, your company’s stage, the teams taking part, how you mark each deliverable, and the owner names and notes you add. Owner names and notes may identify your colleagues, so add them only if you have the right to share them with us. We use them only to show your workshop back to you, and we delete them with your account.
Messages and requests, including information you provide when you contact us or request a paid strategy session.
Book order information, such as your name, email, billing or shipping details, items purchased, order status, and transaction details. Stripe processes payment card information; Minted does not receive your full payment card number.
Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with the site. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies may collect some of this information.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, payment card data, confidential client information, or information about another person into an assessment or session unless you have the right to provide it and it is necessary for the feature.

How we use information

We use information to:

create and deliver your assessment results and save your assessment or session to your account;
operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and GrowthFi Matrix features;
understand users’ marketing priorities and conduct product, market, and marketing research;
send emails relating to your results, account, requests, purchases, and Minted’s services, updates, and offerings;
respond to strategy-session requests and communicate about possible services;
process and administer book orders and payments;
measure site and campaign activity, and, where enabled and permitted, measure or personalize advertising and build remarketing audiences; and
comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect Minted, users, and others.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account, results, security, or purchase-related emails. Where consent is the required basis for marketing, we will use your information for that purpose only when the required consent has been obtained.

Marketing emails. When you get your GrowthFi Matrix results, we add your email address to our list and may send you occasional emails from Minted. The list keeps only your email address, the date you joined, and that it came from the assessment, never your answers. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails and keep only a note that you opted out, so we never add you again.

Minted does not currently plan to send marketing text messages.

AI tools you choose to use

The site does not send your assessment answers, results, or email address to any AI service. Your results page lets you copy a prompt with your results into an AI tool of your choice. If you do, that tool’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you paste. AI-generated plans may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on them.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Minted and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand how it is used, measure marketing, and support advertising or remarketing. These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, browser or device identifiers, pages viewed, and interactions with the site.

Some technologies are necessary for the site to function. Others may be used for analytics or advertising, including to measure campaigns or create and measure remarketing audiences. When enabled, analytics, social media, or advertising providers may receive information about your browser or device activity.

You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, though this may affect site functionality. Browser settings may not control pixels or other similar technologies. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy choices regarding advertising technologies; you can contact hello@mintedbook.com to make a privacy request.

We use service providers to help operate Minted and provide its features. These providers may include website hosting and delivery providers; account, authentication, and data storage providers; email and communications providers; payment processors; software development and maintenance providers; and analytics, social media, and advertising providers. Depending on their role, they may process account details, assessment responses, order or payment information, or device and usage data. We limit the information shared to what is reasonably needed for the provider’s service. Your full payment card number is handled by the payment processor rather than provided to Minted.

When enabled, advertising or analytics tools may receive device, browsing, or campaign information, as described in the Cookies, analytics, and advertising section. Service providers may process information under their own privacy policies and settings. We may also share information with professional advisers, authorities, or others where reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or handle a business transfer. We may change providers over time; this Policy describes their categories and purposes rather than listing every provider by name.

If enabled, we may also share device, browsing, or campaign information with Meta, LinkedIn, and other analytics or advertising providers. Those providers may use the information under their own privacy policies and settings.

We do not make your saved assessment or team-session results visible to other user accounts. Minted personnel and service providers may access information when reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain the service, address security issues, or meet legal obligations.

Shared results links. If you create a link to share your GrowthFi Matrix results, anyone with that link can see your company name, business type, team size, and picks for up to 90 days. The link stops working sooner if you turn it off, delete those results, or delete your account. Share links only with people you trust.

Market research and advertising

We may analyze assessment responses and other site information to understand common marketing priorities, improve the GrowthFi Matrix, develop products, and inform Minted’s marketing. We may use site activity to measure advertising and, where enabled and permitted, show or measure remarketing ads. We do not promise that information used for these purposes will always be de-identified. You can contact us to ask about available privacy choices.

International processing

Minted serves users in different countries. We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we will use appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.

Retention and deletion

We keep saved assessment and session information while your account is active. You can delete your account and its saved information at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing hello@mintedbook.com. We delete information from active systems within 30 days of a verified request, and backup copies expire within 90 days. We may keep limited information longer when required by law, needed to resolve disputes, or necessary to complete a transaction or honor an opt-out.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; receive a copy; object to or restrict certain uses; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing. To make a request, email hello@mintedbook.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed, lost, or disclosed without authorization. Please avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information through the assessment.

Children

Minted is intended for adults and business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to Minted, contact us at hello@mintedbook.com so we can review and address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy as the site or our practices change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
